Startups have an important role in creating innovation and growth - especially in the field of AI. AI Sweden, appliedAI by UnternehmerTUM (Germany), Hub France IA, Ignite Sweden, and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden have joined forces to map the AI startup ecosystem in their countries with the objective to foster and accelerate AI in Europe.
On 17 November, we will launch the first version of the AI Startup Landscape, which features 500+ startups from France, Germany and Sweden. This landscape marks the initial steps in mapping the AI startup ecosystem in Europe.
The map will provide an overview of the best AI startups from each country. It has been curated by an evaluation committee with representatives from investors, large companies, academia, startups and incubators from each of those countries.
The goal of this landscape is to create a centralized database of quality AI startups that will give promising startups a visible platform and it will also serve as a guide for corporations and SMEs, who will have much easier access to AI partners they can trust. This will benefit both parties as it will help create more partnership opportunities between startups and corporations.
